各分支机构、团体会员单位、省级纺织工程学会及相关单位和专家：

为激励纺织科技工作者的创新精神，奖励在纺织科学探索方面取得卓越成就和做出重大贡献的科技工作者，中国纺织工程学会设立奖项“纺织科学探索奖”（Textile Science Exploration Award, TSEA），现开展第一届纺织科学探索奖提名工作。请各相关单位和个人公正严谨地完成提名，有关事项通知如下。

一、奖项设置

纺织科学探索奖是中国纺织工程学会设立的面向世界纺织领域的国际化奖项，每两年评选一次，每次奖励不超过2人。本奖项实行提名制，不受理自荐。评选过程坚持公益、公开、公平、公正的原则，不收取任何费用。本奖项接受社会各界的捐赠。

二、候选人提名条件

1.热爱和平，承认一个中国；具有良好的科学精神和职业道德；在与纺织相关的科研机构、高校、企业以及提名委员会认为适当的其他机构从事科学研究、教学或技术工作多年；

2.在纺织科学基础研究和应用基础研究中勇于探索，做出重要的科学发现和发明。

三、提名要求

1.世界范围内，纺织领域有一定知名度的纺织科技工作者和纺织学术组织均可为提名者，每个提名者仅可提名1名候选人。

2.提名者应提交以下提名资料：由提名人签名或提名学术组织负责人签名并盖章的提名推荐信（不少于300字的提名理由）；填写完整的《纺织科学探索奖提名信息表》（见附件）。

四、提名截止时间

请于2023年10月6日前，将提名推荐信与提名信息表提交至中国纺织工程学会学术处邮箱：ctesxueshuchu@126.com。

NOTICE ON NOMINATING CANDIDATES FOR THE FIRST TEXTILE SCIENCE EXPLORATION AWARD

To inspire the innovative spirit of textile scientific and technological workers and reward those scientific and technological workers who have made outstanding achievements and great contribution in textile science exploration, China Textile Engineering Society (CTES) sets up Textile Science Exploration Award (TSEA). The nomination process for the first Textile Science Exploration Award is currently conducted. Please all relevant units and individuals complete the nomination fairly and rigorously. The relevant matters are notified as follows.

1. Award Settings

TSEA is an international award set up for the world textile industry. It is selected once every two years. No more than two persons are rewarded at a time. This award is selected by way of nomination, and a self-recommendation is not considered. It is selected in the principles of non-profit, openness, fairness and justice, without any charge. This award accepts donations from all walks of life.

2. Nomination Conditions for Candidates

(1) He/she should love peace and recognize the “one-China” principle; have a good scientific spirit and professional ethics; have devoted himself/herself to scientific research, teaching or technical work for many years in textile industry-related scientific research institutions, universities and enterprises or other organizations that are deemed appropriate by the Nomination Committee.

(2) He/she has the courage to explore and has made important scientific discoveries and inventions in textile basic research and applied basic research.

3. Nomination Requirements

(1) Worldwide, each textile scientific and technological worker or textile academic organization that is well-known in the textile field could be a nominator. Each nominator is required to nominate only one candidate.

(2) The nominator should submit the following nomination materials: a nomination recommendation letter signed and stamped by the nominator or the head of the nominating academic organization (with a nomination reason of no less than 300 words). Complete the nomination information form for the Textile Science Exploration Award (see attachment).

4. Nomination Deadline

Before October 6^th, 2023, please submit the nomination recommendation letter and nomination information form to the Academic Office of the China Textile Engineering Society by E-mail: ctesxueshuchu@126.com.
